Web 2.0

      • In the skills 2.0 one of the messages is that anyone can make digital content without any real training. They then can take that content and work with others to create something even greater. In the learning platform it also states that Web 2.0 allows greater community learning that helps others read and write more. This ability to communicate with communities allows greater collective intelligence.
      • People across the world can have or learn information at ability that hasn’t been available yet for mankind. Barriers of communication are breaking down through avenues of blogging, chatting, and podcasts. The worlds information is becoming more and more available.
      • The learning platform is working on a distance-learning program. Since not all of the qualified students across the world can come to this school distance learning would enable them to gain a education that is different than the one they could gain through their own personal study. The distance learning will use different teaching tools such as chat room , web conference, blog, or searchable threaded discussions. All of these different approaches would greatly enhance the learning for the student and demonstrates the essences of distance learning through web 2.0
      • I feel this new age of web 2.0 is so fascinating in the way it can impact the world, as we know today. I feel that in my professional development I can really gain a greater perspective of all the different views and ideas that could flow from having open discussions in groups through the world wide web. It seems like those who didn’t have a voice now do. It seems like people have more room for growth in their learning growth
